Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the horror and martial arts types. Her style and approach are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action flicks with a morbid fascination. After earning some recognition through the channels on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) and began her review in late 2009. She was on the website from 2009 until the year 2015 which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on her channel, both of which cover the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! She also appeared as a guest star in Midnight Screenings is a regular occasion. The program reviews grotesque movies geared towards children, RiffTrax and live shows. It also occasionally features adult comedy. Her first review was in the middle of 2009. She gained a lot of popularity through the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She has appeared in numerous episodes from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the family that Channel Awesome had with Doug Walker.
